Congratulations are due to Kevin Czepiel '07, who was named co-captain of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst hockey team for the 2012-13 season. He joins co-captain Rocco Carzo.

"Rocco and Kevin have impacted our team positively with their workmanlike approach and positive outlook," UMass hockey head coach John Micheletto said. "Their teammates have recognized their leadership qualities thus far and have voiced their support for the two of them. I'm as excited for Kevin and Rocco to receive this recognition as I am for our team to be led and represented by them."

Czepiel, a native of Holyoke, Mass., has seen action in 94 career games playing with the Minutemen. He boasts five goals and 13 assists, adding 18 career points to his credit.

  1. To dominate other teams in hockey, the co-captain should be more concern in his game. Because he has also that much responsibility as the main captain has. So every player should practice more and more. Hockey blanket
