Hector Harold '10 and Ethan O'Day '12 are two of five newcomers to the University of Vermont basketball team, Head Coach John Becker told the Vermont Sports Network Aug. 10.

"I am really excited about the newcomers that we are bringing in," Becker said. "I think that they will not only add depth to the experience we have coming back, but that the freshmen can contribute right away as we look to defend our America East Championship next season."

Harold, a 6' 7" forward, transferred to Vermont after playing his first two seasons with Pepperdine. He was named All-New England Prep School Athletic Conference Second Team as a senior at NMH after averaging 16 points per game. O'Day, a 6' 9" forward, was named to the NEPSAC AAA All-Conference First Team and runner-up for the league's player of the year during his final season. O'Day led NMH to a NEPSAC AAA New England Championship after averaging 14 points and nine rebounds per game.
