Nancy Harvin has been named chief advancement officer at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

"Nancy is an experienced and effective leader and joins us at an exciting time in the Clark’s history," said Michael Conforti, director of the Clark. "We look forward to having her join our team."

Harvin was director of external affairs and leadership gifts at Northfield Mount Hermon from 1989 until 1997. She is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she also served as regional campaign director from 1986 to 1989 and as director of principal gifts from 1997 until 2008.

Most recently, Harvin was vice president of advancement at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.
