In the February 8 column, "On Campus: Crimson pride," the Metrowest Daily News predicts that Harvard University might finally have a shot at winning the Ivy League in men's basketball, thanks in large part to NMH alumnus Andrew Van Nest. The article quotes the Harvard coach as saying that Van Nest, a 6-foot-10 forward, has "a boatload of talent" and is a valuable contributor, despite having to sit out part of the season due to surgery on his shoulder and a bout of pneumonia. Eric Avidon of the Daily News staff quotes Van Nest as saying "We all know what we are capable of and we aren't looking back.'' To read more about Van Nest and Harvard's prospects, click here.
